If you are on the Standard Pathway, you you must complete a written examination (CAT MCQ) and structured clinical examination administered by the Australian Medical Council (AMC).

 

f you pass the AMC CAT MCQ you can apply for limited registration. If you pass both the AMC CAT MCQ and the AMC Clinical Examinations before commencing your period of supervised practice in Australia, you can apply for provisional registration.
